#WeekendCoffeeShare: Twas and Tis

WCS Tea BagIf we were having coffee, I will stretch quite a bit as I try to wake my muscles. Twas stressful this week with snow and me kicking a snow pile blocking my car — one that turned out to be an ice blob (ouch!). Oh, we’ll need a chair for you and a chair for me and one for my foot. Tis yummy tea that makes it all better, though. And good company. Let’s sip and chat.

I finished a writing project! I FINISHED! *applause* Twas a short one, but still… it’s DONE! I even submitted it somewhere, though of course now I see more I could change, expand, etc., so I will. But if it gets published, it might be in that original form, and I’m OK with that. I wrote every night from Sunday through Wednesday and I actually got to the #  #  #  at the bottom. I’m still doing a happy dance over that. In the recent past, Muse and I liked to start a lot of things and jot a lot of things down. We used a lot of writing energy on freelance articles, etc., but we gave that up. Since then, she and I spend more time together writing bits and pieces, literally and in my head. Then this week, it came together! What on earth will we FINISH next?!?

Speaking of writing, I blogged twice! In one week! Again! Three times if you count today! Tuesday — twas a Snow Day, written about  in time-stamped increments. Read what happened throughout the day, and what Daughtry and pizza had to do with it. Random Thoughts Thursday — twas the monthly Brief Epistles edition. To whom did I write this month?

This week’s fun: Pizza! The This Is Us finale, which offered a surprise ending I kind of expected. And as always, my #365Project on Instagram.

This week’s challenge: Not being able to snowblow the 3 inches of ice that fell on top of the 3 inches of snow (well below the weather morons predictions). Getting to bed at a decent time most nights, fighting my inner three-year-old that din’nt wanna go to bed! *stomps foot* <—the good one, not the ice-injured one.

… … … …

Sorry. I stopped to air drum and jazz hands Space Age Love Song by A Flock of Seagulls. Guess that’s my workout for the day. Phew! Got that out of the way early. I think I’ll sit back and have another cup o’ tea. Tis a great beginning to my weekend. Ahhhhhhh.

Until next week… Peace.

Random Thoughts Thursday: March Brief Epistles

Nothing Gold Can Stay

  1. Congrats on finishing a writing project and gracing the blogosphere with your writing as well. Both are good things. I enjoy your coffee shares, but never seem to get here until late. Oh well, I believe that a comment, timely or not, is still worth commenting. Or something like that…

    • Thanks, Ally. Aw. I appreciate that. There is no “late” on the Internet, methinks. A comment is a comment is a comment. Always super happy to hear from you!

  2. Congrats on finishing your writing project! A great achievement and I hope it gets published where you want it. The snow. I’m moving to Florida for 6 months/year and hope to never see another snow flake in my life! 🙂

  3. Bravo on finishing writing project! Woot!!! I just had to go click on your Snow Day as we had a humdinger here in the Montreal region… Got confused as you talk about March 20 – which is tomorrow.. then re-read and realised… never mind! 😉
Now I’m feeling the need to finish MY writing project… Hmmm…
Have a great week! Tomorrow is officially spring! Tell that to the too-many-feet-of-snow-on-my-front-yard!

    • Thanks! And thanks for pointing out that date. No, you’re right — it should have been March 13. I fixed it. Apparently, I’m trying to get to my vacation week quicker (coming up soon!)

Yes, do finish your writing project! I highly recommend it. Still happy dancing about it.

Go away Montreal snow! It’s time for spring!

  4. Congrats on the finished product, that’s very exciting. Great post, thank you for sharing.

  5. Well done on your writing achievement.

  6. ~M

Glad you were able to finish your project. It always feel so good when you have that sense of accomplishment from finishing something and you can sit back and relax for a bit; until the next idea hits of course! Lol…

  7. Congratulations on finishing your project. We will hope the weather moderates so that ice block disappears.
